The project started off with the idea to capture the traditional depiction of Korean tigers in their art history. I wanted to portray a mask-like feel for a ceremonial display. However, during the process I was spirited to take the design and forge it with my own style.

Process:
Tiger on bottom and the start of a dragon on top.
I thought I was done here, but after a quick bite to eat I came back and knew that the tiger could be sculpted further.
